Dear class mates, this is the time to say good bye. At night we are having the graduation party, but most of you won't be there. Anyway, I hope to keep in touch with you by facebook!
My plans... it isn't so clear right now... maybe I will travel to Chile and Brasil this month but I'm not sure jet. It would be great if I could met my friends and my mother before having my baby....
After that, I'd like to enroll in an english course to prepare TOEFL exam, and it begins in May at the University of Calgary. I need TOEFL to become a member of APEGA, the asociation of engineers in Alberta. If not, I can't work here as an engineer, and this is not good!
Then I will just be waiting my baby, who is coming in August!! woooo....... it is so soon...
Maybe next year I will star to look for a job, and I hope to find one asap, because I'd like to be independant. I don't want my boy friend to pay everything, or have to ask him each time I need to buy something.
And last, but not least... Here is my tribute to our great theacher Julie: the San Patrick-Gertrude´s cat:
It is so cute!!
It´s been a nice time with you guys. Thanks to all of you!

Academic Word List (AWL) and long weekend!
(Written on Thursday Feb 12th 2015)
Tomorrow morning I'm having my second ultrasound exam, so I'm excited to see my baby again. This is an important one, because I will know whether the baby has any disease or not.
On Saturday my boyfriend is going to a business trip, so I'm going to be in charge of his 2 daughters of 11 and 14 years old during the weekend. Maybe we are doing something in Calgary, but I don't know where or when yet. I have been thinking about going to the zoo, but it depends on the weather. If you will stay in Calgary as me, this link could be useful.
About AWL, I should recognize I haven't heard about it before. After a little searching I found that the Academic Word List is a list of 570 words which appear frequently in English-language academic texts. If you want to study in an English-speaking college or university you will need to know this vocabulary, and even if you don´t, it could be very usefull because this words are very common in newspapers, magazines, and novels, and they are usually heard on television, movies or in conversation.
